Ok, last time I started a political topic I definitely riled up the entire board except for Larry who smartly stayed away from the debate. Just saw on Hannity and Colmes that Ann Coulter hates McCain so much that she said she would vote for Hillary Clinton. If you know anything about Ann Coulter then you had to be blown away by this comment. She feels so betrayed by a guy like John McCain who actually works with both parties to get things done. God fordbid John McCain actually tries to keep an ...

Hey guys, thought you'd like to check out this game. It's called Goal Line Blitz. In it, you create a player, and through training and playing games you level him up - like an RPG. You can add points to specific attributes, eg if you want a speedy guy or a strong guy. You don't have to pay attention to it every day, either - people who are on there for an hour a day tinkering with their player are going to get the same results as someone who puts in 5 minutes every few days. It's great fun, and ...

Welcome to the $10 fix you can reload again and again.

You load your mp3s into it, and it builds a stage based on the music.

It does a really good job of matching the rhythm with the hills and little colored boxes, especially when there's a really pronounced beat. Check out what happens about a minute in here. Really cool stuff!

This was just too funny not to share with everyone.

BANNED FROM WAL-MART..........This is why women should not take men shopping against their will.

After Mr. and Mrs. Fenton retired, Mrs. Fenton insisted her husband accompany her on her trips to Wal-Mart.*

Unfortunately, Mr. Fenton was like most men--he found shopping boring and preferred to get in and get out.

Equally unfortunately, Mrs. Fenton was like most women--she loved to

browse. One day Mrs. Fenton received the ...

Some sports celebrity roasts are entertaining...like when ESPN 1000 roasted someone truly worth the attention, like Ditka. But the Mike and Mike Roast? Roasting a couple of guys still early in their careers? It was obvious from the start that this was typical ESPN nonsense; little more than a publicity ploy to try to hype a couple of mediocre morning DJs. How pathetic. You just knew it was going to be bad, but apparently it was even worse than that...

Hey Gang,

I've entered into a signature contest over on gridironfans.com and I'd like your help getting me the win.

The competiton was simple, the Admins pick a team and you made a signature pic that you feels best represents the team. This month's team in the Miami Dolphins.

Right now I'm behind in the voting and I honestly feel like mine is the best one so I'm not opposed to stacking the deck a little in my favor.

So here's the link the thread you can vote on:

And for a majority of the last two hours I've been sitting in awe of the disaster that has ensued for some of the winners, mostly because they went nuts and bought everything under the sun. Buying dozens of cars, multiple homes, giving money to strangers who claimed to be family members, you name it.

The Associated Press

The writers strike has struck down the Fox thriller "24."

"24" is absent from the network's revised, strike-affected schedule for midseason. In its announcement, Fox explained the "Day 7" season for the series would be indefinitely postponed to ensure an uninterrupted run.

Like most series written by members of the Writers Guild of America, "24" is falling prey to a shortfall ...

Album-by-album rankings (scale: 1 worst to 5 best)

"Pablo Honey" - 3 1/2. Definitely a 90s British version of the grunge rock scene. "Creep" is an obvious classic. It's got some good songs but it doesn't really foretell the band's eventual ...

Just read on msn.com that NBC is bringing back American Gladiators as a mid-season replacement to their line up and they have added none other than HULK HOGAN to be the show's host when it hits the airwaves again.

Ben Silverman, the NBC co-chief, is apparently a huge 80's fan because not only is he bringing back a late 80's favorite like Gladiators, he's also greenlighted a two hour Knight Rider pilot.

If this guy brings back ALF I'll be in heaven.

Monday, this guy stops me in a grey biz suit. I thought he was just another visiting business man looking for directions. He started with some story about his cell phone, losing his blackberry, blah blah blah and he needed two bucks. ...

No, I'm not talking about Gatorade or anything like that.

What alcoholic drinks do you drink, if any, for the big games?

If I decide to drink, my early game drink (especially for those 11am college games) is the Bloody Mary. I love V8, tomato juice and anything with a spicey kick so this is a natural pick.

As far as later games beer is the obvious choice. I don't like to drink that much so a couple of beers is just fine by me. If that's the case then I'll stay away from light beer. ...

Incidentally, Simmons and I went and saw the Simpsons movie yesterday and it's pretty safe to say we both loved it. They took advantage of being on the silver screen by saying and doing somethings you wouldn't see or hear them do on TV and it was really really funny.

So is this column...
