I'm pretty excited about this. I volunteered to do a Bears blog for the site because the site is one of the most popular football sites on the internet. Currently number 3 out of 100.

So give it a looksee from time to time and see what you think. I promise it won't always be a Bears blog, but most of the time it will be.

Here's the link:

You can even subscribe to the blog if you want.

..I'm a legal alien, I'm an Englishman playing football!

Yeah not the best pun, but the sentiment is right and was the best I could come up with whilst trying to hold in some sick (Hangover + 4 hours of football = feeling a little woozy)

Hello, this post his hugely self indulgent, but thought I'd post it anyway while I'm a high... Yesterday I played football for the first time!! There was an open rookie day at my local team in the British League and I went along... and didn't make a ...

Hey Ryan,

Great piece you did here, I really enjoyed it and I have a lot of respect for your advice......even more so because I agree with you 100%.

I have all 4 of these players on various fantasy rosters, mainly for the reasons you outlined.

Kurt Warner is a great move, especially in start 2 QB leagues where QB's become a premium and finding a decent back up is tough. I play in 2 leagues like this, both reasonably deep and I've rostered Warner as my QB4 in both.....and I was ...

9:21 – Alright, second half is underway. Let’s see if the Bears can turn this thing around. It can’t get much worse than it did in the first half.

9:24 – Cardinals go three and out to start the second half….good start.

9:25 – Does anyone else find those “Man Law” commercials funny? They always seem to make me laugh…no matter how homophobic that tend to be at times.

9:30 – Kornheiser mentions his fantasy team (one hour and forty-eight minutes into the broadcast, that is amazing ...

After sitting back and reading my Bears/Packers running diary I realize that I'm still bascially giving you guys a play-by-play account for the most part. What I have been trying to do is replicate this running diary of last year's Bears/Cardinals Monday Night Game. So for anyone who was wondering what I was trying to accomplish with last night's blog.....this is the template I was trying to follow.

3rd Quarter

9:14 - Got a little too comfortable watching Family Guy so I missed the beginning of the half. D’OH!!

9:15 – After moving the ball well to start the half the Bears have a stupid delay of game penalty on 3rd and 7. They appear to run the play that would have gotten them the first down on 3rd and 7, but are a few yards short on 3rd and 12 and have to try a FG instead.

9:17 – 44-yarder is perfect and it’s back to a one possession game for the Bears. Packers 17-10.

Running Diary for Chicago at Green Bay 10/07/07

7:08pm – Don’t ask me why I decided to this for this game of all games but I have. With my Bears seemingly circling the drain and the Packers making a case for the right to call themselves the team to beat in the NFC, you’d think I’d stay away from this game. I don’t have one of those gut feelings that says that I think the Bears will win this game or anything like that, but I do think that this will be a bit more competitive than each team’s ...

Right on. It IS boring. I don't like team sports games. There's a bunch of guys that do their own little thing... it's like you're mostly watching what's going on rather than playing anything.

That's why golf and racing can be fun, but football games blow ass

Hardcore female gamers are such a rarity. What male influenced you? My little sister's a video gamer because her older brother was such a dominant influence growing up :)
