So I guess you've probably heard about the Patriots spy job.

Too early to tell what happened. I didn't know this shit was illegal. With the amount of video and photos taken at any given game, you'd think it wouldn't be too hard to get your hands on some signals as it is. Is this really that big a deal? You say "spy" and it sounds worse than it is IMHO.

I think I remember reading somewhere that it was the same guy they caught hanging around the Green Bay facility last year.

Creepy. I think the big deal is that whoever it was clearly went out of his way to tape signals. If that's not the issue, then I'm just as lost as you.

I've always found it humorous that basketball coaches shout plays loud enough for all to hear, and assistants hold up big boards with numbers on them to give the players the play call, and basketball players hold up fingers to signal plays...but football coaches think their play calls are such top secret information that they have to hide their mouth for fear someone will read their lips. Paranoia strikes deep. Into your life it will creep.

At the start I didn't know the "spy" was on the Jets sideline. That's a whole different level of naughty! At least try to hide it... jebus criggidy!
