| Not a bad move for Charlie Frye. Maybe a tough blow to the ego, but otherwise a huge step up in his career. | |

| A step up to backing up Matt Hasselbeck. But it is on a better team, and he'll be able to get some mentoring instead of being thrown into an awful mix and being expected to make something out of it.
There is a silver lining. The timing of it is just a bit cruel is all.

| Romeo Crenell can now take his place in the pantheon of idiots coaching an NFL team. (aka the Brian Billick Memorial Dumb Play-Calling Club). If Frye was not the best QB for the Browns, then why did he start game 1? If Frye was the best QB in training camp and deserving of the #1 job, then why did the coach give up on him after 1 game? Either way, Romeo Crenell is an indecisive idiot. His days as a head coach are numbered. The Romeo death watch officially begins. | |

| Amen to that. I'm stunned that he lasted this long. They kept showing him on the sidelines, and he was just standing there, not making a face, not saying a word. He's always like that.
How can he be an effective head coach if he's not emotionally involved in the games at all? Riddle me that.

Hm... I failed to think of a demotion as being a good thing. Welcome to Cleveland: The new Oakland. Flee! FLEE! Hasselbeck isn't that old, though. Frye may never see a starting job again.
