I am totally blown away by the fact that South Florida is number two. Blown away in a good way because I did not expect them to get any kind of respect because every college football expert out there has been putting them down. I just became the country's biggest South Florida fan. I hope that these guys run the table and play for the National Championship. | |

BC is ranked in both polls higher then USF. Last week they were ranked higher then USF in both polls. BC deserves #2. USF can be three | |

| Why are you shocked Coast? I could be wrong but doesnt the BCS not factor "School recognizability" into it? They just throw all the numbers into a formula I believe, and since USF is still undefeated with wins against WV and Auburb I would have been more surprised to not see them in like the top 3. | |

| I am surprised because these rankings always tend to favor the bigger schools and despite South Florida being in the Big East, it is still a smaller school and is virtually unknown at this point.
Not to mention that with every expert saying that South Florida doesn't deserve their ranking and aren't as good as their ranking would indicate, I was expecting the polls to reflect that at some point.
Pleasantly surprised that it didn't though. | |

| Amen.
That's why I was happy to see it. I think that the more the standings get mucked up by these "lower tier" teams that the BCS was basically designed to keep out of the big games, the closer we get to having a playoff system. | |
