Joe doesn't know history. New England is a 16-point favorite over the Redskins this week, with some stray 16.5 out there. Skins coach Joe Gibbs said this week that the Redskins were the “biggest underdog in the history of sports”. They aren’t of course. They aren't even the biggest underdog this year in football. Heck not even this month. Joe apparently has learned from the players how to play the disrespect card.
Joe's playing of the "world's biggest underdog" card is even worse than all the media clowns who proclaimed the Appalachian State upset of Michigan as the biggest upset in NCAA football history. Uhhhhh no. That wasn't true either. Vegas casinos had a 29.5 point spread on that game. There were several upsets in NCAA history with larger spreads than Appy. And now that game is not even the largest upset of this year. Stanford was a 40 point dog to USC when it beat the Trojans.
When people say dumb stuff like this, are they actually so clueless to not know they can be proven flat out wrong?
