I need some help with this one guys.

I was going to do a non-sports Main Event this week, but I just stumbled upon an article by Peter King on si.com that I want to comment on.

So, should I do the Peter King column? or should I take a break from the sports for a week?

Just so you know, I was going to do a review of the Summer Movies I've seen so far (which is pretty much all of them), and preview the ones that have yet to come out.

He put out his power rankings and I didn't get a chance to read all of it, but there were some statements in there that I was going to address. Not to mention the fact that some of his rankings are all over the place.

Yup, sounds like Peter King. I hate that guy. He's such a kneel-down service guy when it comes to some things. (And he's always such a jerk about my Bengals.) I bet he swallows.

I think I'll actually do both, but condense the movie part because I've given you guys mini reviews from time to time over the summer.

Why comment on a retards power rankings when you can use that energy to make your own power ranking. Most experts are dumb. Only a few actually know what they are talking about, King is not included

I'm going to be doing one and putting it out next week before the camps get started.

King has another article out justifying his rankings. I haven't had a chance to read it yet, but I don't know if anything can save him from scrutiny.

I try not to get too worried about power rankings, I also concentrate on cricket and baseball this time of year so it doesn't seem too long till September, but I am slightly worried about the Pats first game at the Jets followed by us hosting the Chargers, could be a 0-2 start

Power Rankings are so subjective, should you place the Colts at Number 1 *just* because they are the defending champs, the Pats for the off season moves or the improvements to the Broncos defence, or the loss of SD's coaching staff. How do you rank them? It is just a crap shoot. Anyway looking forward to the show

You're right Mark, pre-season power rankings especially are a big crapshoot. Even I didn't put much stock in my own rankings last year and I ended up being right. The team I settled on being number one last year ended up not even making the playoffs (Carolina) and neither did a couple of other teams I had in my top ten (Cincinnati and Pittsburgh). So I'm gonna make my rankings based on last year's standing and off-season moves and see how I end up.

I did end up being right about Detroit and Oakland being the two worst teams though
