NFL Pick Against The Spread Contest, Week 5

New Orleans -3

The Saints offense can’t be as bad as the 12 points a game they are averaging. Carolina is 20th in the league against the pass. With the Saints coming off a bye their passing offense should get healthy against the Panthers. Not to mention the Panthers have QB problems.

Saints win 24-10

New England -15.5

It’s hard to bet against the Patriots. Derek Anderson and the Browns offense will have a hard time moving the ball and the Patriot offense will continue their string of 30+ point games. Moss will have another 2 touchdown game against a defense that is 31st against the pass.

San Diego PK

While Denver is #1 in the league against the pass they are 31st against the run. This seems like the perfect game for LT to get on track. With the Broncos running situation up in the air Cutler will have to put the team on his shoulders. With Walker out I don’t think Cutler will be able to.

Chargers win 27-17

Tampa Bay +9.5

The Bucs defense is 5th in the league in total yards and 1st in points allowed. The Colts might be without Marvin Harrison and Joseph Addai and even if they do play they won’t be 100%. With the Colts missing or having 2 key members of their offense limited the Bucs will keep it close. This game will come down to the last 2 mins. Colts have the better kicker

Colts win 20-17

Atlanta +8

The only reason I’m making this pick is because I’m still not sold on the Titans. They will only go as far as their defense and for some reason I think they will have a bad day. Harrington is a streaky quarterback and I think he will keep it close.

Falcons win 17-14

Arizona -3.5

It doesn’t look good for an offense that was 29th in the league in total yards and 32nd in PPG with their 2 best players. Now that Bulger and Jackson will be out this team doesn’t have a chance.

Cardinals win 31-6
