| Why is Andy the only one that took the Bucs? All logic points to the Bucs winning this game! I thought I would be in the minority...weird... | |

| I was surprised to see that too.
I didn't think that everyone would be sucked in by the Giants performance against New England. I thought there would be closer to a split instead of it being a Lone Wolf pick this week. For me, I just don't think Tampa can do it. They lost three out of four down the stretch, coasted into the playoffs and haven't playing their best football when it matters most. The Giants are hot right now and I feel like they are more ready to play than Tampa is right now.

| Wild Card Round results are up!!
Myself, Simmons, Max and Sarah all had perfect 4-0 weekends so it is no surprise that we are the top four in the picks standings. Simmons risked the most points (34) and won them all so he is our current leader. He is followed by me (29), Max (28.) and Sarah (21).
Mark Bailey (Rockhoppers) scored and impressive 21 points despite losing a game. He sits in 5th place followed by Greg (13) and our only 2 game loser of the week (or 2 game winner depending on how you want to look at it) my good friend Andy Schumacher, who is tied with Greg with 13 points.
And despite winning three out of four games, David Drake only earned 7 points. But he only risked a total of 10 points for the weekend. Appears Drake is saving his bigger totals for the later rounds.
There are still a lot of big totals left out there. Myself, Max, Simmons and Mark were the only ones risking any of our double digit values. Simmons risked both his 10 and 11 value picks and won them both. Myself and Max both risked our 10 value pick and won, and Mark went all-in on Seattle and won that as well.
I have made a graphic for the standings, you probably saw it while scrolling down, it will keep the record of how everything goes down.
The Divisional Round is next. Some interesting games that are all tough calls on paper and some big confidence values still out there waiting to be used.
Should be fun. | |

| Sorry for the delay!!
Divisional Results are up!!
Simmons is still holding on to his lead, he is now 9 points ahead of myself and Max who both have 41 points. But Simmons can still be caught, he has the fewest available points remaining out of anyone on the panel. The best he can do is get 8 more points while some of use have as many as twenty points left to be claimed.
The Championship rounds are next. They both seem like obvious calls, but are they? We'll see what you guys think.

| Championship Round picks are up!
Simmons and I are the only believers in the Giants this weekend. Simmons has the smarter point value on the game though. I hope that I don't regret giving the NFC Title game a 7 point value. I'm not THAT confident that the Giants are going to win, but that's how I rolled the dice. We'll see how lucky I get this week.
Andy is our Lone Wolf this week. He is taking San Diego to end the Patriot's perfect season in Foxboro on Sunday. Is he crazy? Or is he the only smart one among us?
We'll know by Monday morning.

| I can't actually win this whole thing, by the way, despite being tied for second - if the Packers and Pats both win, I catch up 4 points on Simmons. But I've only got 4 points on the Super Bowl, so even if I get that right and he's wrong he still beats me. Darn it. | |

| Championship Round Results are up!!
Simmons and I were the only disciples of Eli and because of it, we were the only ones to go perfect for the Championship Round. My gamble of putting 7 points on the NFC Title game paid off for me. Without it, I wouldn't have a chance of catching Simmons. Now I am the only one who can, but I have to get my Super Bowl pick right in order to do so.
Everyone else is playing just cause ya gotta. So get those picks to me anytime between now and next Friday. Greg has already gotten his pick in. He hates the Patriots so he is picking the Giants, which may not be the worst pick in the world when you think about it. I just hope the game kicks as much ass as the Week Seventeen match-up did.

| I will be picking the Patriots to win. If Larry also picks the Pats and the Pats win, then he wins. However if the Giants win (if Larry were to pick the Pats with me) then I win. I like this scenario. I'm taking the Pats. What's your move Dyer? | |

| I have always intended on picking New England to win the game. So I will be sticking with that. I hope the Giants play as well as they did Week Seventeen and make the game another classic. But New England has been imposing their will on everyone this season and I don't think that the Super Bowl will be any different.
I would love to see New York win the game, but I just don't think it will happen.
So I'm with you Simmons, I'm taking the Pats. That's my move.

| I put my 11 points on the Colts first game at home. If your team hadn't let me down, Ryan, I might still be in contention! (Um... except you probably took the Colts then too....) :-) Oh well. It's been fun anyway. And I can't believe I'm saying this (as a long-time Giants hater...) But... Go Giants!! | |

| You know Greg,
I wasn't getting the connection before with your hatred of the Giants before. But after smacking myself in the face I realized why Greg Campbell is a huge Giants hater.....Super Bowl XXv.....Scott Norwood.....Wide Right!!!
I apologize for my ignorance.

| SHUT UP!! You're right. It's not a good thing to bring up with Bills fans. BUT... our hatred of the Pats FAR outweighs our hatred of the Giants... so we're secretly hoping for a repeat of XXV where the super underdog, good defense, run-oriented Giants eek out a win over the vastly offensively superior opponent. (Weren't the 1990 Bills favored by 19 points or something insane like that?) (No... just checked... it was 8, but I know it started in the teens, with the Bills coming off a 51-3 win over the Raiders! Man... THOSE were the days...) | |

| Super Bowl picks are up!!
It's all going to come down to Dyer and Simmons for the post-season crown. I can beat Simmons by one point if the Patriots win the game, Simmons takes the gold if the Giants pull off the upset. So I guess Simmons is rooting for New York to win on Sunday (actually, I am too, but I still think the Patriots will win) so he can win.

| With my successful prediction of the Giants victory - defense apparently DOES win championships - I finished a respectable 8-3 (2nd place tie) but a point short of Larry. (Guess those STUN guys know what they're talking about...) Man... that 11 points on the Colts to at LEAST advance past the first round... not good. It was fun. Already looking forward to next year. (Assuming we BBR guys are invited again!) Go Bills! (Ahh.. much better!) | |

| Everyone is invited again next year. I had a great time running the competition this season and I am also looking forward to next season. But never fear Greg, there will be other occassions that will warrant a picks competition of some sort.
We'll have the NBA playoffs, NHL playoffs, NCAA Tourney, etc. Hell, maybe we'll even try to get some kind of picks thing going for the first 10 picks of the NFL Draft or something.
Ya never know.
All that aside, congrats Simmons, still the post-season champ, two years running.

| Finally got the final results up. As reported before, Simmons is our post season champ once again. I guess I'll just have to settle for being the regular season champ four years running. But I plan on getting my post season crown back next season. I came in second, Greg's correct Super Bowl pick got him within one point of me, but he'll have to settle for 3rd. Our Brit and Aussie panelists tied for 4th place with 46 points apiece. Our Panther girl, Sarah Webster, came in 5th. Andy had the only losing record on the panel, but scored enough confidence points to stay out of the cellar which is occupied by David Drake. Simmons and I hope that every one, even you Who Dey, will come back and play with us again next season. We would also like to remind you that even though the football season is over , there are still plenty of pick 'em games to be played. We will have games for the NBA and NHL playoffs and the NCAA Tournament to name a few. And I'm sure we will throw something together for the NFL Draft as well. If you guys are up for it, we can do the time capsule thing for MLB, make our predictions and see who's right at the end of the season. Let me know what you guys think about that. | |
