When was the last time there was a 20 point line in an NFL game?

There were people who bought houses at the peak of the real estate investment boom who are losing their standard of living, if not most of their assets. There are people who bought tech stocks at the peak of that boom and still haven't recovered. At least when you pay premium prices that are near the peak of the market for a football bet, you win or lose your stake within a few days. It's not drip drip drip toward bankruptcy. But this isn't the peak. The peak will be when they're laying 30 to the Jets in two weeks. But it is interesting...the same people who would argue that the stock market was overvalued then or the real estate market was overvalued a year or so ago might be the same guys who are buying New England now. Do as they say and not as they do I guess.

Just to be on the record here for the Thursday games, Detroit will be one of my contest picks this week.

Sorry Coast, I've been living out of pocket for the past week or so without consistent internet access. I'm not competing for the top, and I probably would have gone 1-4 or 0-5 anyway, so no big loss.

Really liking the fish tonight plus the 16. I cannot make them a big play but it will be a capper to a good week.

I'm bummed I didn't get to this. I felt like I could have still made some type of run. Oh well...
