Nope, not Barry Bonds' record-breaking home run but Rick Ankiel coming back from a pitching meltdown in the 2000 playoffs, turning himself into a hitter and in his first game back....he hits a HR. He hit 2 yesterday and made an outstanding catch against the Dodgers. Not just cos he's a Cardinal but this is one of the best sports stories of the year and it's pretty much agreed on by everyone unlike Bonds becoming the HR "champ". Interesting week in baseball.

He's too much of a swing and miss guy to stay consistent. As soon as pitchers learn to pitch him down and away, I doubt he'll be hitting homers every other game. Nevertheless, a very good story.

Yeah sure, he'll eventually have to adjust to the league then we'll find out how good he really is. He does strike out alot.
