| Hey folks. New show posted for you, and now we're back to our weekly schedule. Shows will post by Tuesday mornings (since we'll be recording Mon nights now) EXCEPT for next week, due to the holiday... (Labor Day Weekend...)
This has to be one of the funniest shows. Drake and John were in rare form... hilarious. Even had to include an out take at the end. :)
Talked about the roster cuts coming up at the end of the week. Talked about lots of Bills news. Talked about Brian Moorman's foundation. Even talked about the pre-season games.
Great stuff. Enjoy. :) | |

| BillsDuffMan wonders if our offensive line will get it together this year. BillsDuffMan now wonders about the year we will have. BillsDuffMan isn't so sure about the playoffs anymore, and that makes BillsDuffMan sick. | |

| BDM -
The O-line is currently hurting. I mean, like, injured hurting. Starting center Melvin Fowler (aka Mr. Melvin...) has been out. Brad Butler, whom the Bills had hoped would be the starting right guard has been injured and not played a lot. That has certainly hampered the unit's cohesive development. (big words!)
But...
Once they are back... we have some pretty decent guys. They look pretty bad on at least half of the pre-season plays so far, but I am putting some hope in the continued confidence of the players and coaches (though Jauron did voice some concern over the running game in a press conference yesterday....) I think our passing game will actually open up our running game. I think JP thinks that too.
So hang in the BDM. Hold off on the sickness till after a real game or two. They are coming soon!

| Actually, I have the feeling that a lot of the rest of the NFL (fans at least) either feel that way, or just completely indifferent. And that's kinda fun. I know they don't, and I think this year the Bills are going to surprise a lot of people. What I'm really hoping though is that we'll keep building in the right direction. If the Bills win the Super Bowl this year, they will have gotten extremely lucky. They still have some holes to fill. Places to get better. But they are a lot better than just a few years ago, even though not many folks could name more than 3 players from the team! :-)
(and one of them is our PUNTER) :-)

| Greg, Johon, Dave - Great show. It's the best one of the year. Drake, I'd like to challenge you on this Anthony Thomas is only good for 1.4 yards a carry crap this year. When he carried the ball at least 20 times in a gamelast year, here's what he did. 28 for109 3.9 per carry 20 95 for 4.8 per carry I'd say you're a bit harsh drkmstr. See you Oct 29th. | |

| billsduffman we will need to spend a lot of time at Moe's this season drinking our sorrows away... Not being able to see my cursor on this board is killing me... anyway the a-train is a good veteran to have but i hope he never gets more than 5 carries in any game this year we need more than 7 yards from our running backs. Someone really needs to change the color of the cursor.... | |

| That's the night Ryan will be replacing me (as the show audio engineer and ombudsman). I hope to still join y'all from our vacation spot however... | |

| You know I have been wondering.......let me put my dunce cap on first, just in case....... .....hmmm...... ....that's better......anyway, I've been wondering: What the hell is an ombudsman? And is it pronounced the way it looks (um-buds-man)? I had never even heard the word before until I saw it on espn.com a week or so ago. Still have no idea what it means or what the title is. Please help me | |

| HA That's awesome. That's not what I thought it meant. Actually picked the word up from my brother-in-law (who's one smart fellow). We use it as the person in a meeting who keeps people on track. That is (one of my) role(s) on our show. I stand corrected by the dictionary. Thanks Dave.
Emcee? Not really. Anyone got a better word for that?

| I've always considered it more of the play-by-play role for the guy who drives the show and does the teases and intros and such.
But's that probably because throughout our association those are the roles Simmons and I have always played. He's the play-by-play guy and I'm the color commentator. Mike and Mike is another example of that, I think, as well. Greeny is the play-by-play and Golic is the color guy.
But that's just my opinion.
